How we use your information
Thank you for establishing/registering yourself on TTapp.ie! TTapp.ie is an app wholly owned by iBusinessCard Ltd. (CRO No. 602765). iBusinessCard Ltd. will be referred to from here, in all instances, as TTapp.ie, iBusinessCard and iBusinessCard Ltd and will be used interchangeably throughout.

Collecting and using your personal information

Specialties if applicable | A short-form text area describing the member’s specialties. |
Positions if applicable | An object representing the member’s current position. |
picture-url if applicable | A URL to the member’s formatted profile picture, if one has been provided. |
picture-urls::(original) | A URL to the member’s original unformatted profile picture. This image is usually larger than the picture-url value above. |
api-standard-profile-request | A URL representing the resource you would request for programmatic access to the member’s profile. |
This information will be used to automatically generate a profile which will use all the or some of the above data sets to pre-populate the data fields required to generate the profile.
The following information will also be collected by TTapp.ie to maintain and optimise the performance and functioning of the app:
Usage data, Contacts permission, Camera permission, Approximate location permission, Storage permission, Bluetooth sharing permission
Once the profile has been generated, you will be asked to share your location data with TTapp.ie, to identify locations in your vicinity which may be of interest to you. Your location will be tracked by the app and locations within a maximum radius of up to 2km, and will be available to you to you via from the app. This will in no way be recorded by TTapp.ie or any affiliates or service providers. You may choose not to share your location with TTapp.ie by accessing your app permissions and turning off this setting.
Security of your personal data
Your data is hosted in Azure Enterprise, a key component of Microsoft App Cloud, which is a cloud application platform used to provide the platform on which TTapp.ie is based. As the service provider, Microsoft controls the primary management of the following areas and uses reasonable efforts to provide:
Infrastructure and application security: Microsoft designs, deploys, maintains, and is responsible for securing many of the underlying compute services, including the virtual machines and application microservices that support a customer’s runtime. Microsoft is responsible for the elements to which it has sole administrative access on behalf of the customer.
Security monitoring: Microsoft runs a comprehensive set of security monitoring and event-logging tools and policies for the infrastructure and platform services to which it has sole administrative control.
Patch management: Microsoft maintains the operating systems and applications it uses to deliver the cloud application platform, including the application of patches it deems critical to these systems and applications.
Network security: Microsoft protects networks containing the information systems that run customer applications. Customers assume responsibility for the level of access, control, and configuration of their application environments which they directly manage.
Physical security: Microsoft, both directly and through the third-party cloud provider that it leverages for IaaS, is responsible for protecting the physical data center, both in terms of physical as well as environmental controls.
As a tenant of Microsoft, TTapp.ie retains responsibility for the end-to-end security of the application in the following areas:
Application design: TTapp.ie is responsible for the secure design of applications running on Microsoft Azure, including access to the data and system configurations that are controlled by the application. This includes, but is not limited to: proper identity access and management; end-to-end encryption beyond TLS termination; security handling and storage of certifications provided by Microsoft; and the roles and permission granted to the application’s end users.
Security monitoring: Microsoft is responsible for the detection, classification, and remediation of all security events occurring within an application or database environment that is configured and controlled by the customer, including any monitoring tied to compliance or certification programs that the customer is participating in and that are not covered by the infrastructure and services managed by Microsoft.
All personal data hosted by Microsoft on behalf of TTapp.ie is hosted on secure servers in Dublin, Ireland.
Data Retention
Your personal data is retained by TTapp.ie for the active duration of your account. Your data will be deleted from our systems upon deactivation of your account.
Your rights
You can write to us at any time to exercise the following rights available to you under data protection legislation:
- To get a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- To correct inaccurate information about you
- To delete the information we hold on you
- To exercise your right of data portability
- To opt-out of receiving messages relating to TTapp.ie and its affiliates and service providers
- To object to the processing of your personal data
